Two Standards (Favoritism)

In 1997, our group was invited to The United Kingdom to attend The Revision of Helsinki Declaration Conference. Many countries accused Thailand for non-transparency and unfairness to selected researchers for HIV' s pregnancy patients study in many occasions(l,2).
At that time we were not aware that the term "Two Standards" has a deeper meaning that caused many problem to Thai society. As a matter of, we realize and truly understand the "Two Standards" in our society, including unfairness, prejudice, human. rights violation, unlimited lies and some occasional violence. These probably continue not only to occur in medical professions, but also in many other professions
