Enhancing Cardiovascular Risk Awareness among High School Students: The Cluster Randomized Controlled Trial of School-Based Educational Interventions

The findings suggest that the educational intervention was effective in significantly improving students’ raising awareness of risk, knowledge, and attitudes toward cardiovascular disease among high school students.

A Randomized Controlled Trial on Outcomes of Polymethylmethacrylate and Hydroxyapatite Implants in Evisceration: Introducing the Four-Petal Myoconjunctival Technique

At 8 weeks, both wrapped polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA) and hydroxyapatite (HA) implants showed comparable outcomes in prosthesis wear and motility. The four-petal technique was effective with minimal complications, making PMMA a practical option in resource-limited settings.

Incidence and Risk Factors Associated with Venous Thromboembolism in Thai Trauma Patients

The incidence of venous thromboembolism (VTE) in Thai trauma patients was 1.6%. Risk factors for VTE included female sex, spinal cord injury, and prolonged hospitalization. Further studies are needed to identify a subgroup of patients who would benefit from chemoprophylaxis.
