Viboonjuntra P Upper extremity deep vein thrombosis (UEDVT) is an increasingly important clinical entity with potential for
considerable morbidity, especially pulmonary embolism (PE). Here, the authors report a fatal case of the massive PE after
spinal surgery, along with the UEDVT of superior vena cava (SVC).
